Gear up & get ready, this class focuses on all major muscle groups and works toward overall strength & tone.

Work those abs in a quick burst! This hard-core class targets the mid section only; abs and internal/external obliques.

Silver Sneakers Classic
The Silver Sneakers program offers group exercise for older adults that increase strength and flexibility. Chairs, balls, & hand weights are used to work on muscle strength & range of motion. This program is open to all Silver Sneaker participants as well as any adult member of Highland County Family YMCA.
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:00-10:00am (FREE for members)
Silver Sneakers Cardio
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

The Way Karate
The Way Karate is a Christian Martial Arts program taught by Sensei Dow Tippett of the Y Warriors in Clinton County. The program focuses on character development and self-defense. Sensei Dow has earned his Yan Dan (fourth degree) Black Belt under Master Richard Ludwick in Bushido Karate, and his Renshi (fourth degree Master) under Soke Jeff Disney in Iki Mono Ryu Martial Arts. Sensei will bring all his experience and training into this program, as well as a strong desire to help families develop in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ and His word, and their love for each other.
